Rajdhani Express, as by name Rajdhani means Capital, So it always starts from India's capital New Delhi, and from New Delhi to main states Capital cities, like Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai. First time I traveled in this train in 1998, Kolkata to New Delhi, and after than I always use this train only for journey. It's India's fastest train.
First of all its safe if you are girl or travelling alone, fully air conditioned, 3 tier, 2 tier, and first class. I always prefer 2 tier compartment even alone or with family. Not much crowd in 2 tier, much spacious than 3 tier, seats are also wider than 3 tier, so always choose 3 tier in rajdhani Express. From Delhi its starts at around 5 pm for Howrah - Kolkata, reach next day 10 in morning. Just 18 hours journey.
The bed roll provided by them always be neat and clean, but if by chance you seems not good, can easily exchange. I always carry food from home only, heard not good food in Trains, but once I had food in Rajdhani Express, except curry all is good, curry was just like hot water with spices, but other food like Rice, Chapati, sweet, snack, Ice cream, chocolate, Bread, Jam, Butter all are fresh and good, with mango fruity.
There are curtains, mirror, and charging point also. So no need to worry. Service is also good. I have traveled in New Delhi to Kolkata and same return journey many times, once Bangalore to New Delhi also. It was nice experience, most comfortable if you are with elder aged peoples, or travelling alone. Make sure, it will better make ticket in advance, because specially for New Delhi to Kolkata, you could not find availability of tickets, you must have to book the tickets in advance.
