The Raiganj Wildlife sanctuary is located from 3-4 kilometers away from the Raiganj town. Mode of transportation for visiting Raiganj Wildlife Sanctuary is through taxi or autorickshaw etc.
The entry fee for Raiganj Wildlife sanctuary is Rs. 40/- per person, we have to make on foot walk inside the sanctuary through a brick walkway. After entering into sanctuary we have found various birds like tree pies, kingfishers, barbet, orioles etc.,
From the guide we have came to know that in most of the time except winter, the sanctuary is a desert for wildlife. Also he told us that the sanctuary has becamed a picnic spot because of that the wildlife is not coming here because they feel disturbed.
Overall a best sanctuary in Raiganj to see the beauty of jungle and the game of light and shadow and of the fallen leaves on the bed is as it is in other forests.
