I was in this biz a year back. I made a healthy, tiring effort to get people dream big and do this biz in a very ethical way, I had a few success as well. I have the following "views" (Quote: This is my view, people have a right to disagree and I will take that with respect as their views)
1.) Get into this business if you are confident that you can make money for the people whom you get in this biz. Else do not cheat them by showing dreams that they are not capable of achieving.
2.) Don't turn a blind eye - deaf ears to people who do not agree with you or do not share your ambitions with your biz, respect them, their views. Often people lose good friends by not respecting their views. Your dad, uncle, elders have more experience in the past which is invaluable. Try understanding why they have a particular view, often they are right in whatever they say.
3.) Typically your leaders will tell you "Never switch off your mind from the biz". I leave it for you to follow or not follow them, In my opinion thinking biz all the time will make you lose your core-character. People will tend to think as if you have lost your original identity and always relate you to your biz. Be calm composed and do not talk biz all the time, in case you do please accept what people call you at your back.
4.) Few positives like making your dream list and timelines to achieve it is great! Take this biz oppurtunity to dream big and follow them even if you do not do this biz later. Nothing is beyond dreams and there can be other means than q-net to achieve it.
5.) Gain more friends, unintentionally selflessly. Improve your network. You never know you can go outing or trekking with new people and friends.
7.) DO NOT - REPEAT DO NOT Spend huge amount after you join the biz into meetings, travelling. Nobody can change you inside out unless you are willing to change. So a "V" Change and all and travelling malayasia is all BULL-SHIT. There are ppl who have earned good even after not travelling and attending "V" meetings. You can always have a CD of the meeting and watch it.
6.) Finally work with a plan for 3 months and then take a Go - No Go decesion. Do it ethically and lead your way to financial freedom or quit gracefully.
