Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Examinations book is completed aptitude book. It is all about practice, the more you practice it the better you will be able to understand it. One thing which I like the most about the Maths is that it's about solving. The feeling which I get after solving a horrible Trigonometry question in my school days is just unimaginable.
The author will take you to a journey with a step by step approach in which he will first give you easy questions which you will do and understand what the chapter is all about and how to work with formulas.
This book is surely recommended for Arithmetic portion except Trigonometry, Geometry, Algebra as it lacks quality questions in those chapters. But I will highly recommend this book for other chapters. It has the best collection of questions.
