I have a Pureit water purifier and using it from last one year, the battery has worn out and I have registered a request with HUL customer care for its replacement on 17th Dec 2008. Since then I have been calling them on 23rd, 26th, 30th and 31st Dec 08, only to hear, that we are sorry for the inconvenience caused, the complaint has been escalated and some one will be calling today. I am no longer able to use the water flter and forced to drink water directly from tap without filtering it.
The customer care doesn't even update regarding why there is a delay in getting the battery replaced. They keep assuring you that some executive will call today and the battery will be replaced, which never happened till now.It is a helpless situation for me, even though I have a water purifier, I am not able to use it. This is worst kind of after sale service I have experienced.
I called again on 31st afternoon to the HUL customer care and told the executive that if the battery is not replaced today, then I am going to take assistance from Consumer court, and finally the executive arrived that day and replaced the battery.
So I advise that think twice before buying HUL products as it has worst after sale service.
