They were much better earlier.until I reached a problem.
I had a master card issued against a savings account on Punjab national bank.Everything was working perfectly but one day, the debit card simply teared off.Unlike other banks, the card was of extreme bad quality that the magnetic strip was a delicate sheet pasted to it.It teared off and eventually I lost it.When I contacted the branch, they asked me to register a complaint for card loss and block the card by calling their toll free number and then only they could issue a new one.Why? even if customer, by himself present at a branch to file a card loss, still I have to call and register! They cant do it on my behalf?
Then I called, No one was picking up the phone.I tried many days and finally got it connected, My request was processed and I was given a new card.But guess what, this time they gave me a Rupay card instead of my master card.Master card was so powerful I could use it anywhere, but Rupay is waste, couldn't use it anywhere at all other than ATM withdrawal!Too bad service PNB
I will not recommend PNB to others!
