Pune.. A town they call as city next to Mumbai. Review on Pune

One of the leading city in freedom struggle with Lokmanya Tilak starting the movement from Pune. Has historical background with great Shivaji Maharaj spending his childhood and starting the 'Swarajya' (Independent state) movements, Peshwa's and what not.

Later, this town was taken to new heights by lot of people like historian Rajwade, Bal Gandhava, Atre, P.L. Deshpande, Bhimsen Joshi etc etc. Pune any how has a crown with such diamond personalities.

But, as it is popular for there is a typical nature of the city. I am not concerned about that. But now a days I am observing that, this is the city of law breakers when it comes to traffic rules. It is the city of senseless and shameless people who are sitting in and trying to run the corporation. The infrastructure is worst.

Some traditions like Ganesh Festival is taking a violent shape where in people are forced to pay the contribution. As per my knowledge, someody was badly beaten for the so called contribution last year. Authorities refuge to obey the Court decisions and lot many.

The heritage buildings like Shaniwarvada and Lal mahal are not protected. People turn violent and destroy historical documents in the name of protest.

The market is still accumlated at one place creating traffic chaos. They town can grow and is grown but people do not want to grow. They want the all the luxary but in core pune.

SO guys, the city has very good background which we should be proud of, but not the present and who knows the future :-)
