Located at a promenade, along the seaside at south boulevard , Hotel Promenade makes a special mark of Pondicherry. Its unique location with a blend of french civilization, makes it one of its kind in India.
Visited Pondicherry and not stayed at Promenade... 50% of Pondicherry is missed.Good Hospitality and well behaved staff makes the entry to the hotel very pleasant . Dinning with almost more than 80% of french and other foreign visitors, takes you away to miles alway to Europe.
Rooms are decently furnished with LCD tv and a comfortable bed. Blue is very well used in the rooms also depicting the Rue de Marine, which is where Hotel Promenade is located.Opposite to hotel is French consulate and also a old french colony all around it.Well, the best is yet to come with sea walk during the evening and a large cup of Latte at Le cafe, on the shore of Bay of Bengal.
Shopping at Casablance and duty free shops adds to the memory and to some personal collection.All and all, value for money. Mind that reservations need to be well in advance as most of the hotel goes to our dear French Nationals.
