Pond’s is perhaps one of the most familiar brands with Indian women. Almost all of its products come with an assurance of quality and satisfaction. So when I saw the Pond’s White Beauty range, I was wondering: “So, even this brand is into this fairness fad? ” I am totally in antipathy of fairness products as not only I don’t think pale skin is the yardstick of beauty, but also class 10 biology taught me about basics of skin and its pigmentation-that the idea of wiping away melanin is certainly vague. Moreover, the absurdity of fairness cream ads are a big turn-off.I think fairness creams are portrayed in India as love potions and crash course to success! Outrageous!
