I actually wrote a lot of this as comments for tarantinofan's review but I figured it was so long I could actually make an entire review with it. So here it is. Don't expect an organised review with the plot etc, coz it's not going to be like that. I've just penned my feelings.

This is such a silly movie Vikram deserves to hit himself hard for even dreaming it would ever become a superhit. I overheard talk in Vikram’s office that Vikram was upset the film wasn’t doing as well as expected. He acted well, I agree, but I don’t get the purpose of his role nor that of anyone else in the movie. I mean why should Vikram be an undertaker? What's the use of that character? He could have well been a boxing champion (for the amount of sterngth he was shown to have) or just a typical college dude hero guy. They all can fight the same anyways. Send a hundred men to beat them up and the hero would win. Just because. He doesn't have to be an undertaker to do that.

I think this would have been a much better film had it been a comedy film. A few of Laila's scenes with Surya were funny. I liked the part where he ran around with her on his back. LOL. And this 'stupid silly girl' role really becomes Laila.

The interactions between Surya and Laila were humorous and enjoyable up until she fell in love with him. God knows how that suddenly happened when they were fighting like cats and dogs till then. There wasn’t even a transition point! At least they should have shown both of them falling in love. It was so stupid. They hated each other even when they met when he was in jail and then suddenly he comes to her house, gives her her watch and asks her out. And she says she'll bunk college and come. Oh me Gawd! What does Bala take me for? A bimbo like Laila? How could he expect me (or anyone half as sensible as me) to watch this? Horrifying!

And then when the point came when Vikram had burnt someone, and they all found out, they should have all just left town and went away. But no, they’d stay right there and continue selling Ganja or whatever. And the killing of Surya was entirely unwanted.

And it beats me as to how Sangeetha (not sure if that's really her name...u know who I’m talking about--the one who sells ganja) falls in love with Vikram initially (at least that’s what this small mind of mine comprehended in the song ’Ilangatru veesuthey’) and suddenly hates him and chases him away for being the cause of Surya’s death. I was so irritated by this time that I left without watching the rest of the movie.

Oh, and could someone please explain why Sangeetha (the same one mentioned above) has her hair all over her face in every scene? Does she actually think that it makes her look fashionable? She looks like an Apso dog more than anything else.

And people reading this, PLEASE don’t watch that silly movie. I’m sure you’ve got better things to do. Take a nice walk for relaxation or have a nice dinner at a restaurant. At least you’ll be spending quality time with your family/friends that way. It’s not worth getting your mind polluted watching this garbage of a movie. I can’t stand movies with voilence and this one beats it all. It’s definitely not suitable for children of any age to watch. In fact unless you've got a heart of ice I don’t think you’d enjoy the movie much either.

I had to make this comment too. I notice some people have been praising IR’s music in this movie. I do appreciate IR for his talent and obviously have respect for him and his music but I won’t rank the music in this movie very high. For one, the first song (at the cemetery) sounds very much like one of his much older songs. And Ilangatru Veesuthey also has the beginning of ’Mana koyil vaasalil’ from Veera. I don’t think IR has put in his full efforts in this movie. I won’t blame him. He probably didn’t want to waste his time composing for such a ’Now-where-did-this-jump-from’ movie.
