On my visit to Indore, I had been eating a lot. I loved the weather in Indore and the food really became my best friend. My hotel was located in the middle of the market area of Indore. It was just above the Pishori Dhaba. Obviously half the time I was eating from there, because I had to work from the room.
However, my first order at any new restaurant is usually the most common to check if the food is okay or no. I was there on a business trip and I had two other colleagues joining me for lunch. They mentioned that the restaurant below my hotel was really good. We decided to order some room service. We ordered the most common Butter Chicken and Roti.
I was appalled at the quantity. I would have never finished it all by my own. It is the best tasted Butter Chicken of my life. Their service was quick too. I had decided to keep this restaurant as my go to restaurant until my trip is over. Every afternoon after my tedious business calls, I was usually free and had lunch all by myself.
One afternoon, I ordered Chicken Tandoori and a beer. Trust me on this, the Chicken Tandoori was the juiciest chicken tandoori I have ever had. It was something to die for. I loved the salad along with the chicken tandoori too.
In the span of 7 days, I tried almost the entire menu card(not really), and every item they made was amazing. Once, I had gone to the restaurant, expecting to eat while sitting there, but the Sikh owner at the counter, told me to go to the room as it wasn’t too good for women to sit there and eat. I was glad by such honesty.
I recommend all my friends and colleagues to visit Pishori Dhaba while they are visiting Indore.
