Piku-irky. Review on Piku

After a long time comes a movie that can be watched with your family. It takes you back to the humorous era of Hrishikesh Mukherjee. The humor that exists in between the difficulties of  day to day life is well potrayed. There is an interesting Father-daughter relationship between Mr Amitabh Bacchan and Deepika Padukone. This film makes us realize the importance of family relationship  which is fast forgotten these days.

Acting in the facting is stupendous. Amitabh once again proves why he is called a legend. Playing the role of a  seventy year old, he carries the film on his shoulders.You will love to hate him at times. Love him or hate him but you cant ignore him. Deepika and irrfan provide good support. It wont be an exxageration to say that Deepika is one of the most versatile actress if her time.She effortlessly fits into the role of Piku. Watching her play the role with so muvh comfort and ease is a treat to your eyes. Irrfan as usual is perfect.Characters of the film are no hero with a six pack abs or an ultra glamourous or sexy heroine. They are all very realistic and not boring.

The film deals with a subject which we are not very comfortable to talk about but in some way or the other it exists in each and every family. Therefore one gets engrossed in the film's progress.Hats off to Shoojit Sircar for the beautiful and flawless presentation.He has worked hard in sketching every character be it the father and daughter or the realtives like the sister I law Chobi.His effort to make the charcters look so much real and lively is commendable. It is a work of passion and precision. A must watch movie for every age group, take a break, enjoy the movie, you will feel refreshed and full of energy.
