This is to highlight poor service and ripping of customers byPhilips India for known issues in their product
I have had the TV model: 42PFL9532 for about an year. The issue is blank screen with sound.
Now this had happened once I paid about Rs 7500 for repairs and service once and then issue recurs within three months of repair.
Philips India says that the parts and service are covered only for one month after the service which is really very sad as this seems to be a known issue with the TV

I have had logged the complaints with phillips and there has been no response for about 4 days now. I advice every one who reads this to stay away from all philips products in India. The service quality and terms are absolutely consumer unfriendly. This is sad in todays world when we hear of so many recalls due to faulty products Philips India continues to ignore the plight of its customers
Never again a philips for me.
