A great and beautiful read. Review on Percy Jackson's Greek Heroes - Rick Riordan

This book! Oh, this is one of my favorite books! I have read it so many times I just lost count! First of all, what made me read this book is that it is from the Percy Jackson(which is totally awesome, by the way. Do read that too, but of course, there is just a minor spoiler if haven't read the whole series but, it can be neglected, so there is no need to read all the books first!) by Rick Riordan. He is one of my all-time favorites. The book basically focuses on the stories of several heroes from the ancient Greek legends including Hercules, Theseus, Bellerophon and many more. It expresses the legendary stories in such a beautiful and modern way that it was surely a page-turner at every point for me. The author, Rick Riordan, writes in a modern style - puns, sarcasm(a lot!) and, at the same time, full of action and suspense. I would recommend this book to all! Also, check out its prequel - Percy Jackson's Greek Gods - which tells the story of how the world, Titans, Gods and Humans came to be. It also helps to deepens one's understanding of the wide Greek mythology: It provides detailed about the origin and jobs of the twelve major Olympians. Rick Riordan has also written'Percy Jackson And The Olympians' which a series of fictional Greek mythology - "The Greek Gods are alive and kicking!" - set in a modern world. It then, continues on to the'Heroes of Olympus' series and finally to the latest, 'Trials of Apollo' series. I would recommend this book too all! Hope this review helped!
