My worst marketing experience. Please stay away. Review on Pepperfry

On 21st Jan'13 I order one Linksys wireless router from pepperfry.com which was priced there Rs 200 higher than other online site but with the lucrative discount they offer, the effective cost for me was Rs 150 lower than others. Finally I ordered the product, only to having the worst marketing experience.

I waited for my order (Order No.100483203) for next five days, at least for a message confirming my order status but have not received one. When I visited the site to check about the status, I noticed that my order was cancelled of no reason. When I called to get the reason, I was told that my order has been cancelled due to payment decline....(what the crap). I booked my order after making online payment and the amount was debited instantly from my account. How the hell I'll get an order confirmation message and order no. without making payment.

Now they have taken 48 hrs to check the issue and respond but the whole issue has left me disappointed and going forward, I will be double careful shopping on these highly unprofessional sites.

Guys, pepperfry.com kind of online site totally dupe the whole idea of online shopping and give you more trauma and mental agony than visiting a physical shop to get your product.

Please refrain yourself from ordering any product just bcoz you are getting good discount. What's the use if you do not receive the order and you end of losing your time and effort in calling and pursuing this matter.

There are site like flipkart.com, myntra.com which may not give you deep discount but would have wonderful shopping experience when you get your order before you expected.Now you have option after reading this review, either to navigate away from pepperfry.com which I feel would be intelligent of you or experience something like me and write one more review here.
