I had ordered a Bajaj Mx7 iron from Pepperfry, using a promotional coupon. After 9 Business Days of the order, I got a sms informing me that my order is delayed and that they will inform me of the status of the order within next 3 working days. At the end of 3 working days, there was no information from them. When I contacted their customer care, I was informed that since the order is delayed by vendor, it would be cancelled and I can get the amount back as "Pepperpoints"! Needless, to say, I asked for a cash refund, which I was informed will take 7-8 working days!
These guys are obviously running a fake order website, and earning interest on the amounts paid against orders (that is, assuming if they ever do a refund).
Strongly recommend not to deal with them in any manner!
