I had over thirty bites from bed bugs at my waist and about ten on my hands after our journey from Goa to Bangalore. My roommate had bites on her arms, feet, and face.
We are are now battling to keep them from our apartment.---and once they are in there they do not go away ...this was a regular AC bus and not a sleeper.
In addition the driving was reckless with the driver speeding on poor roads. More than a couple times during the ride my roommate and I were thrown off our seats and wondered if the bus might tip as it went around curves in the road. The bus was freezing and I was wearing every warm piece of clothing I had.
In light of the bed bug realization I am happy I had on socks an a hood that tightened to cover nearly my whole face. I do not recommend Paulo travels at all.
The bus had a major bed bug infestation which is now a big problem I have to deal with at home--- I do recommend trying KRSTC buses--I've had a much better experience with them not to mention they are much more economical.
