I am late in posting the review,,but still its worth sharing the thoughts.
Beautifully made movie by Vidhu Vinod chopra,,,sets are so realisitic that you inadvertently travel to the lanes and bylanes of calcutta and bengali culture. Viday balan is exquisite and has definitely played her role to the perfection.. she is looking very gulible but matured ,,thats what was needed in the role.
Saif looks cute but sanjay is misfit for the role,,he looks too aged for the role any other hero even with less star value could have been great. Sabyasachi is very good in saif's fathers role , he proves that theatre actors are far above others in terms of acting prowess.
Music is good and gives feeling of rabindra sangeet,,,,authenticity of screen play, sets and art direction makes this movie extremely nice. Only awkward shot is in the climax where saif breaks the wall and every one shouts ;;;tood do,,tood do tood do.
Nice movie,,worth seeing
