When I moved into Chennai in Jan 2007 with my wife and 2 year old kid, I just did not know how I could take care of our son when both my wife and I were out at work. We both are employed in premier IT organizations and do not have family to take care of our son. One of my colleagues mentioned about Parent Choice. They had just opened shop and were setup to offer 5-star class child care service for working parents like us.
They have a great ambience, offer a trained teacher for every 4 kids, air-conditioned classrooms and play-areas, access card and CCTV security in all rooms etc. We were apprehensive about leaving our child in a new place like this. The place is run by Lakshmi, who herself was into IT for 10-years before starting this. She and her team blew away all the doubts tahtw e had in our minds. They would call us 4-5 times day to give us an update and ensure that we were comfortable.
They follow strict guidelines prescribed by some US agency for providing best care for children. My son within weeks was speaking English words and taking care of him at home was getting easier as he knew the correct way of dealing with emotions etc.
My wife and I have been able to concentrate on our work without having to worry about the safety and well being of our child. We have no guilt leaving our child at Parent choice, because they take care of our child even better than us. They even counsel us on child related issues. I was informed that they have started a School too. As long as I stay in Chennai, my kid will continue to go there. They are doing all this in a small scale and focussing on quality. They are expensive tha others but then no one offers such quality facility in Chennai. You pay 5-star price for 5-star service.
