Pardesi Re is a fictional representation of life's bitter truths. It is Written, Produced and Directed by Kewal Krishna. It has music by Sujeet and Lyrics by Kewal Krishna again.

The album has 8 tracks, all of which reflect the patriotic flavour that marks the spinal cord of the script. Side A begins with O Jane Jana Pardesiya by Udit Narayan and Sadhana Sargam. The song is a melodious love duet with the foreigner angle in its fore. There's not much orchestration in the song and this makes it very apt for simple listening but happy feeling. Sadhana handles the first half of the song only for Udit to chip in during the second half and complete the melody.

The second song Pardesi Re Pardesi by Roopkumar Rathod begins with a catchy chorus humming. The mood is light and the feel is thoroughly blissful. The magic is further enhanced the moment Roopkumar's voice graces the microphone. There's not an iota of doubt that he has done complete justice in the rendering and that none other than Roop could have done better. The song is an emotional trip through nostalgia calling for all NRIs to remember their long forgotten motherland that yearns for their return.

Third song Hum Hain Ishq Mastana by Udit Narayan, Sadhana Sargam and Sujeet begins with intertwining harmonium notations blending into loud and sound chorus. The Sujeet has used a minimum of instruments in this number all of which are traditionally Indian. The most impactful aspect of the song is but the forceful and tear-jerking https://lyrics. A sure-shot winner with all audiences, this song may well be the pinch hitter of the album.

The last song on the side Sun Meri Jaan by Vinod Rathod is a very alive and kicking number. It begins with rhythmic string work and of course Vinod's excellent voice. The lyrics seem tailor-made for Vinod's exacting rendering. The music is slightly Goan with a little bit of fun and a little bit of chirpiness in it. It's a total freak-out number with Vinod also trying his skill at yoodeleying...and take it from us, you'll surely take to your feet with this hit number.

Side B begins with Ban Ke Kanwariya by Roopkumar Rathod. It begind with low pitched drumbeats only to be soon joined with fast and foot tapping beats and rhythm. Roopkumar has indeed modulated his voice to suit to the song's special needs and he has done a neat job that's worth a sunoh. Here's a fast number with an inclination towards the devotional aspect of Indian deities. Even though the song may be termed devotional, it makes for an interesting dance number. The lyrics are also well penned so as to maintain the melodious feel. Second song Monamu I Love You by Vinod Rathod and Sunidhi Chauhan is another string and beats song. Armed with a typical country feel and Sunidhi's mesmerizing voice it catches onto the listener with sudden grip and love. It's a love song, but not without a difference. It's slightly haunting and still humable at the same time. The lyrics are simple and will definitely appeal to all and sundry. It sort of completes the album so far in terms of variety and substance. Vinod is as usual at his vocal best.

Third song Nayi Sadak Bazar Se by Ashutosh Rana is an experiment that has well proved to be worthy of all the trouble and dedication invested by the star performer in rendering it to perfection. The Bhojpuri lyrics seem tailor-made for our man who boasts of a great command over Hindi. The best part of the number is that not even for a split second does one realize that it is a song that's not rendered by a professional singer. Ashutosh must indeed give a thought to serious playback singing by the time this song becomes a rage with music lovers. Another trump card for the already great album.

The last song on the album Pardesi Re by Jaspinder Narula and Sujeet is indeed a melodious way to end the album. Jaspinder is at her vocal best and renders the number with exacting style and haunting fervor. The music is slightly Afghani and calls for versatility in the album. The lyrics are complete to the hilt and will keep the audience glued to the player. Sujeet has also proved his mettle as a talented singer with this song.

A job done commendably well! Overall, a melodious offering that'll keep the coffers ticking. Crescendo has indeed bounced back with a bang and is sure to make its triumphant statement in bold and block letters. While the album climbs up on the musical chart, make sure to remember who predicted it first!
