I had recently used the services of Panickers Travels in Delhi. I wanted to go to Agra from Delhi and I was considering multiple options - via train, taxi, package tour. Finally I settled down to package tour as with train - involves multiple mode of transport and taxi was little expensive.
When I started exploring various package tours - I hit upon Panickers. I have heard about these people through my relatives who had visited Char Dham Yatra few years back. First thing which impressed me is their clear website https://panickerstravel.com/ Since I am from Bangalore, I had contacted their office in Bangalore, who offered me to help in booking hotels & travels from Delhi.
After reaching Delhi I confirmed my package & date and it was promptly confirmed. Bus was in a pretty good condition (A/c Prakash Bus not volvo) and they were right on time as per the schedule mentioned. A guide joined us in Agra fort and accompanied us till Taj Mahal.
He was quite informative and didnt bore much (which usually we experience ) and even helped us in suggesting good views for Photographs!! We had visited Agra fort first, then had a break for lunch in a decent hotel which served good veg food. Then we visited Taj mahal and later we left for Mathura in the evening.
Though our package was only for Travel and no food included - they provided a water bottles and Fruit juices on the bus which was refreshing. And we reached delhi at 9:45 pm (as per schedule)
To sum up I would suggest people from south, who travel to delhi for sight seeing purpose to check out with Panickers and I am sure you will not be dissappointed!
