I went to Leh, Ladakh this June 2015 with my family. This place is known for being blue and the water here is crystal clear and is just beautiful. It's just a one day visit to that place. Pangong is also known for film being shot here, many bollywood movies like Jab tak hai jaan and 3 idiots were shot here. And when I was travelling I saw the shooting of the movie sanam re and also saw the lead actress Yami Gautam.
This trip has some great views when you are on road, snow capped mountains, barren mountains, you just can't get enough of it.
I like everything about it.
I would definitely like to do camping near this lake next time when I go, it's said it goes -5 degrees at night I wanna feel that cold.
All the adventures hippies out there get your backpack and bike and just leave for this place. It's worth everything.
