Interesting place to go. Review on Pahari Mandir, Ranchi

I had been to this temple last year in the month of April with my family. This place is situated on the hill west of Ranchi city the capital of Jharkhand. This temple is dedicated to lord shiva. From the hill you will get a panaromic view of the city and this place is one of the land marks of the city. This place is famous as Pahari mandir. At the bottom of the hill you will get a lake which is known as Ranchi Lake.

This place is just 8 km from the railway station and just 12 km from the airport so it is easy to come here from all mode of transport. The height of this hill is 2140 feet so to reach this temple you have to climb 468 steps. This place is fast developing tourist site and per day so many visitors are visiting this place. You will find the huge crowd during the month of February and October. Sunrises view is so pleasant from this place and I really like this. The architecture of the temple was so brilliant and I like the statues surrounding the temple. This place was earlier known as phasi tongri and it was place where freedom fighters were hanged to death. You will see our nation flag hosted here on every republic day and on Independence Day.

I like this place I don’t like one thing that you will not get any juice or anything on the hill so you carry your own juice and water with you. I will highly recommend this place to everyone.
