Oxford book store are swindlers. Review on Oxfordbookstore

Please do not use the Oxford Book store website even for browsing! I have been shopping online for several years now. Never before have I met such cheats.

When I browsed through their very ugly website, I was very happy that certain books which were shown as not available on other sites were ready to be shipped within a week from Oxford. I placed the order and the cheats took money from me right away. Two months and several mails later I have still not received any reply, book or refund from them.

Here's why you should not do any transactions with Oxford Book Store:

• First of all, their search facility is rotten. You type a criteria and it gives you hundreds of unwanted results.

  
  




• Secondly, their availability esimates are never true.

  
  




• Third, they take money from you right away unlike Amazon.com who only take money from you at the time of shipping.

  
  




• Fourth, their customer service does not exist. Nobody reads the mails that you write.

  
  




• Fifth, if an order is going to be delayed you are not informed unlike Amazon.com again who actually go to the extent of informing you of a delayed order and asking you if the order should still be processed or cancelled!

  
  




• Sixth (most important!), they are thieves. You will not see your money if they fail to complete the order. But then, they always fail, without fail!

  
  

This had happened to me two years back also. But I weakened to buy my desired books and have been punished this time by being completely swindled of my money.

You should try Amazon.com (the most professional people in the world!!!), or Fabmall.com (nice Indian site).
