Before the world knew about LCD's and LED's back in early 2003 the ONIDA home theatre took the electronic market of India with a storm. And just like the crowd going by the trend my father purchased an Onida 29 Poison Theater from a trusted electronic showroom at a price of RS.18, 900.00.
Now, with all said and done the TV theatre has it flaws but till date we have been using it and it has been close to 12 years now.Yes the maintenance is high but the service of this Tv has soo far been good.
Good points: -
The dual speakers are of HD quality with high base and tremble and a separate remote to adjust the volume of the speakers
The TV looks sleeks and can easily be adjusted at any corner of the room. The speakers are made out of really good quality and even at high volume the sound does not break.
The remote TV quality is clear and the 32 inch screen is good enough for a small hall room. Points of improvement: - High maintenance after the first 3 years.
The original remote for spoilt within 2 years.
The service center of ONIDA is really bad and the people working as customer service executives are at times rude.
