Story:

This book is written by Chetan Bhagat…the author who wrote one of the most famous books of the last year “Five Point Someone”…It has been a bestseller and continues to sell like hot cakes today…

Statutory Warning: Please don’t try to compare these two books as both the books are on totally different topics and by comparing the interest in the Second book would be lost…Hope all of you agree with me…

This book starts in an empty Train Compartment…where Chetan Bhagat is travelling and then a pretty girl enters and sits right next to him…they start talking and when the girl knows that he is Chetan Bhagat she starts criticizing his earlier book and he feels very bad…then she suggests him a story for his second book and convinces him to write a book on her story only…he becomes very interested and then the story starts…

This book is a story of one night at a Call Center Office called “Connexions” in Gurgaon…where six people work in the same group…The characters are Shyam, Vroom, Esha, Priyanka, Radhika and a Military Uncle…The book is narrated by the character Shyam

It’s a story of their Pain, Sorrows, Ambitions, Love Life, Personal Trauma and the happiness they share together…

The story talk about the trauma and confusion which today’s Youth is facing (feels very strange writing it as I am also a 25 years old guy…). And specially in the Call Center Industry where the normal Body Clock of a Human Being is reversed…the industry operates in the night…when all of us are peacefully sleeping…and the Agents are solving problems and queries of Europeans and Americans sitting thousands of miles away…

These six characters have turbulent personal lives but work as a close knit group in their Bay where everything is shared…except for some things obviously…and by sharing their sorrows they try their best to overcome it…and they sometime fails and sometime succeeds…

They are working on one particular night when something bad happens and then they all go out for a drive and then receive a call from none other than GOD himself…The story starts with the night and ends in the early morning that’s the reason for the title of the Book…

I won’t divulge many details about the book, as it would ruin the suspense of the book it is for all of you to read this book for yourself…

The reason why I liked this book as Chetan Bhagat never uses Heavy-Duty words in his books and the narration is pretty lucid…also his style of writing is loaded with Subtle Humour that nobody can miss…Also I have so many friends working in Call Centers and I have heard so many stories of their Professional Life…And I could relate with their stories quite easily while reading this book…Also one more reason is that both of his books are written in a Delhi Background and being a Delhite myself it feels pretty good…

I am sure there are so many people working in the BPO Industry or the “Call Center” Industry as we popularly call it…and each one of them would identify with this book…the same way every hosteller could identify with Bhagat’s last book “Five Point Someone”…at least I could as I have spent two most memorable years of my life in a Hostel

So then guys and girls just hit the market and read this book…it’s a very low-priced book and comes for only Rs. 95 and I am sure every rupee spent would be well spent…

Hope you found the review interesting and also I have tried my best not to divulge many details about the story…
