I flew with OmanAir from Cairo-Bangkok-Cairo in April. The first flight was awful, dirty aircraft, rude staff and a rather unpleasant flight... but the best was yet to come...
The second flight was great. Nice aircraft, polite staff, and then the pilot made an announcement saying there would be a 30 minute delay due to the aircraft waiting for luggage... we took off 1 minute later!
Arriving at Bangkok, 1 of my bags was smashed to bits and the other didn't arrive!It arrived 5 days later also smashed to bits. I had to buy a new case and clothes which meant I was overweight on my return and was made to pay 10.000THB!!!!!!!!!!
Their customer service department is useless, they took 3 months to reply to me... a further 3 months later andIi have still to get any joy from them! They continue to fob me off with excuses and excuses....
Overall, I think it is a lot better to take your business to an airline that actually cares for it's customers.
