I had travelled recently from Mumbai with my family and infant. The service is pathetic. The crew do not smile or show any courtesy. When we asked for some hot water for the infant, they mentioned they are now busy with the service and will get it later. We waited and infact they forgot and only to get it after we reminded them.
The PA system by the captain is not audible and he seems to be murmering something to himself and I am sure no passengers were able to follow him.
Oman Air advertises about their service and the papers rave about having got some awards.I call upon on these organisations to fly one of these routes in Asia and decide if the Award was the right choice. You probably flew on one route in Europe which was already preplanned that the Award committe is going to fly on.
It is time that Oman Air and their management does something if they ever want to come up as an international airline. Giving low fares and getting passengers is not the way forward.
I would not recommend Oman Air to any Indians. Please use any other airlines.
