I traveled on Oman air from BOM-MCT-LHR on 12th June 2014 and MXP-MCT-BOM 23rd June 2014.
The food served on the plane was awful. The flight crew is rude. Most of them are Filipinos, who cannot speak English properly.
On my return flight from Milan, one of the door wasn't closed properly while the plane was at the gate, so after take off it was stifling inside the plane. Some passengers felt suffocated.
I threw up few times. No one from the crew even bothered to ask me whether I was alright. It was an horrible experience.
Since I was traveling with a group tour, the tickets were booked by the tour operator. Else I wouldn't have picked Oman Air to travel.
It is better to pay few dollars more fly with other airlines who give proper service. With the kind of service they give no wonder Oman air cannot compete with Emirates, Etihad, Qatar.
I would never travel on Oman Air again and would never recommend this airline to anyone.
