Farah khan surely knows how to attract the audience, she gives them what they ask for – a complete masala flick with a little bit of everything{comedy, emotions, action, stupidity, ghost(yes, a ghost in the climax!), romance, revenge, drama}….too many things in one, I must say!

Yet the movie bores you in parts!

There are a few unbelievable moments in the film, like those you find in a typical hindi movie and ignore most of them, but the ghost part is so bizarre and a very unpleasant surprise that you find yourself thinking, what was that? where’s the logic?’ Some of you may argue that it’s a no-brainer type …dont think too much, but that’s the reason I’m not mentioning the other bizarre stuff.

The re-incarnation part lacks the excitement(comparison with Karz is inevitable) and you don’t feel for Shahrukh when he starts remembering his past life.

The “31 stars’’ song, though enjoyable is a long interruption and would have been best suited at the end(surely no one would’ve walked away!)

Shahrukh’s acts well alright, but he looks like Deepika’s father in the first half!(and he’s a junior artist! ….this is fun)

Whereas Deepika is here to stay and will only become better and better with time.

She’s very confident and comfortable and an excellent dancer too. Shreyas Talpade deserves a mention for his work in the first half.

The music is quite peppy and hummable.

The movie also has a few good laughs…

But however OSO does not match its hype and is disappointing because you can’t help but have high expectations from the movie, seeing the way its being marketed. Without the few positives- a few good laughs, some good performances, some good songs and many special appearances – the movie is a dud.

So watch OSO if the above points are enough to keep you interested for 2hrs 45 minutes. Those looking for quality cinema, stay away!
