It’s hard to point a finger to where OK Jaanu went wrong. The first thing that had me squirming was the juvenile antics of the main leads. Playing relatively mature characters ( one is an architect, the other a video game designer) , their behavior is decidedly adolescent. But this is not the first time I have noticed this in mainstream Hindi cinema and I was ready to cut the film some slack. I waited patiently for the first hour or so to get over while the boy woos the girl. Finally, the girl moves in with the boy and I am looking forward to some meat in the screenplay. This never happens and the story continues in the same flat tone, over-enthusiastically trying to inject a youthful energy in a rather sluggish film
