This is a phone I gifted to Ma on her birthday. Even though it is not a high end smartphone which I don’t think would be required for my mother. The Nokia X2 comes with some much needed changes in the otherwise Nokia’s manufactured windows phone namely the Lumia series.

The Nokia X2 is a wholesome smartphone that fits every basic needs and has the flagship brand name of Nokia attached to it. Some of the features of the phone are very interesting which I am going to shed some lights on.

1.) Display – The Nokia X2 comes with a 4.3 inch screen having a pixel density of 217 ppi. The screen resolution is set to 480*800 which makes in for not-so-crisp images. The viewing quality of the phone is not that good in comparison to other phones of the same range and I think this is a very big de-merit of this phone.

2.) Camera – The X2 is powered with a 5MP rear camera and VGA front camera. Though the megapixel is severely low, the pictures taken by the smartphone is crisp and of decent quality. The camera is capable of recording 720p videos and does a good job at that. However low light photography is not up to the mark.

3.) Storage – Nokia X2 comes with a 4GB internal memory and capable of supporting external card of up to 32GB. The smartphone is provided with a 1GB RAM which does just enough for normal games like Subway Surfer and Temple Run.

4.) OS and Performance – This is one among the very few phones from the house of Nokia that sports an Android OS. The Nokia X2 comes with Android v4.3 Jelly Bean. The Dual Core processor of the smartphone does an average job and lags only when the applications are run in bulk. High end games are not meant for this phone and will definitely disappoint heavy gamers.

5.) Battery life and Talk Time – The Nokia X2 has a 1800 mAh battery that sports a talktime of up to 10 hours. The phone has a long duration of music play and stand by and can easily go for two days without the need of a charge.

Final Verdict – The phone is a good buy at its price range and serves more than an average purpose. The dual sim is a much needed feature in the otherwise Nokia’s single sim monotony. All the apps in the google store is available for download which makes it a great buy for Nokia lovers. I recommend this phone to all who are looking for a cheap smartphone having all the required features. However if you are looking to play high end games and applications on this phone, it is not recommended for you. Otherwise, it is a good buy.
