I have been using the Nokia N76 atleast from the couple of days and I cant wait until I have told the whole world what a great phone it is. I can bet it will turn out to be the next best seller of the season.
I have heard some people saying its a girls's phone, a Moto look alike and blah blah. All I could say is that if you like to sport a very unique looking artistically done phone with intelligent features well this one is for you . well art is for every body to enjoy and appreciate .On a closer look this one outsmarts the Motorazr and the slimmer design is a clear nokia trademark:)
It has a very attractive clampshell design with a mirror finish on the cover display.The cover display has dedicated music and volume control keys which facilitates easy access to music player. You can play music without even having to open the phone. The keys on the cover display can also be used to access camera, radio, voice calling and a host of other features.
The mirror finish to the cover UI doubles up as a mirror and comes handy especially for women. You could check your looks in the mirror and no one will even have an inkling:) . Jokes apart this is one of the attractive features on the N76.
It has a 2 MGP camera and I have captured a great deal of photos and videos and I am thoroughly happy with the outcome.The new feature in the camera is the secondary camera with which you can take your own picture and thats a handy feature.You could also preview the images in landscape and on the internal and external screen and upload on the web too.
The Internet surfing on QVGA 2.4" landscape is an amazing experience compared to the other phones.
The keypad has a superb design and its slightly longer and the buttons are easy and soft to use.
The phone comes with a dictionay SIS package installed in it which is an added feature.
It has a mobile search application with both indevice search and web search incorporated in it. The search is as fast and easy to use as the google search . This is undoubtedly an advantage over the other Nseries phones.
Just like some of the other Nseries phones you can use any headset and enjoy great music. The audio quality is extremely good but only next to the N95.
I have heard many poeple complaining over the internet that the battery is too bad. Frankly speaking I cant agree with them.I have used this form the last three- four months and I havent faced any problem with the battery.The standby time is great . It lasts for 3 days atleast if you just receive calls and do the basic operation. If you listen to music too much then yes the battery does burn out fast but then this happens with all phones so why complain.
Overall a very good phone to go for if you are planning on buying a Nseries phone.Go for it if you want to posess a great music phone with a nice camera and a lot of computer features and ofcourse make a fashion statement as well:)
