I have used this lumia 520 for more than one year and I really hate this phone, I have had a very bad experience with this phone.
I bought this phone from Nokia Priority for more than 10000. The phone was just launched at that time, and everybody said that the phone was very good at such a price so I bought it.
The phone has a very bad built quality and the physical buttons are made of cheap plastic and in my usage they broke for more than 3 times every time it costed me 200 to fix them. The buttons stop responding after some time.
The user interface of the phone is also very bad but it was better after the windows phone 8.1 update. The proximity sensor is also very cheap and in 6 months the proximity sensor broke and that had to be replaced too. The screen quality and strength of the phone is also very bad, my screen just broke after falling from my bike when I was just waiting for someone. But the screen still worked after breaking so that was Good. When I took it to Nokia care they said it would cost 3000 to repair the screen at that time the cost of the phone had come to 8000.
Then I had to take it to another private shop where it costed around 1500. Then after that my phone screen has broken 3 times. Another problem with the device is the ram and processor. The phone is very slow and it lags a lot. I heard from some one that windows devices do not lag a lot so I bought the device but I was very diss appointed with the response. The phone stops responding if you use it a for a long time. All your task gets ended and the phone comes back to home screen. That is very bad and the lagging problem is very major. I do not like when after just browsing the internet for some time the phone's browser stops responding and gets ended. This is very frustrating. Though the windows phone store do not have very good games but a few are available. The gaming on this phone is very weak and after just playing the phone gets heated up near thw camera area and that makes holding the phone very difficult. The phone also laggs a lot even by doing ordinary work like browsing or watching video on youtube. This is very frustrating.
The only good thing about the phone is its CAMERA the phone can take good photos in day light and in low light. But it does not have flsh and front camera so that is not good. The video recording on the phone is also very good and it can take videos in full HD. At the end I would just like to say that the phone gave me very bad experience and since then I have not recommended this company phone to anyone.
