Excellent piece of technology. Review on Nokia 6670

I have owned this phone for 10 months and it has been absolutely perfect. I always wanted a color phone with an mp3 player, and this phone has been more than I expected. I was a bit apprehensive about the camera feature as a friend had said that if one thing got spoilt the entire handset would be useless. Anyways, I always like to make up my own mind, so after months of reading brochures and asking people for feedback of a number of phones I decided I would get me a Nokia 6670.

The camera gives amazing pictures, even in dim light, the night mode once switched on gives stunningly clear pictures, I have taken pics at 6 am when the lighting was just not good, and have got amazing pictures.

You have the option of clicking very clear images, which occupy a lot of disk space on your phone, or you can settle for less than crisp images, which are really quite good.

The mp3 player is good, only I wish this handset came with more memory. I currently have a 64MB card which allows me to store 7-9 songs depending on the size of the songs. However if you are like me and like storing music on your cell, be prepared to have a sluggish phone. If you have 3-4 songs the phone functions pretty well. Oh the best thing of all, you can select a song on your cell to play as your ring tone, so cool na :)

The keypad is excellent, and since the phone is not tiny, you can use both hands to type your sms, without worrying that the phone will do a nose dive to the ground. Oh my cell has fallen, but in true Nokia style its as good as new.

The color screen is good, however there are only 3 themes on the phone, you will have to download any themes you want.

The phone has an in-build speaker which is useful for conference calls, I have used it, and it can pick up the voices of family members across the room, so no need to huddle and speak into the phone when the speaker is on.

Oh sorry to disappoint all you gaming addicts, this phone does not come with any preinstalled games ( I am so pleased with this, why waste precious disk space on games when you can have songs ;)) You will have to download games. You can use the USB port that comes along with the phone to download games from your pc.

There are too many features in this phone, so only buy it if you are crazy about all its features, I love the pdf reader, since I can download and read books on my cell. It also has office software like MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint installed.

Browsing the Net on this little handset was a delight, its large screen gives the impression of a palm top pc.

What else can I say I absolutely love this handset, its got the looks and a whole lot of little things to wow you with. Truly a fantastic piece of technology.
