Yes the pun on sony is appropriate when it comes to mobile phones. Its got so much in so little that amazes everyone who see it. 3 mins of voice recording, 512 KB memory plus sim card memory. The sound quality of the fm radio can match any top class personal stereo. I havent yet tried the data transfer with the infrared port yet.
Why go for nokia ?
This is my first cellphone. The goodwill of nokia among my friends and relatives made me buy a nokia. Also they have a wide dealer network.
Value for money ?
I was surprised with the size which is less than 10 cms. So its defnitely worth paying for the size. Sometimes I feel having paid 12k for a cell and not getting polyphonic ring tones is a loss but then this phone has a no-nonsense philosophy. I would recommend this phone to anyone who can sacrifice coloured display and polyphonic ring tones for more real useful features like memory, infrared data transfer and voice recording. The blue LCD display is fantastic and can beat even a cheap coloured display in looks.
