How I got a Nokia 6150 is a story of disappointment. But, since I started using it, I have never been soo delighted. I asked my uncle who is in UAE for a Nokia 8210 phone as he was planning a trip back home. Well, when I met him in India, he did give me the phone, but a 6150. I was very disappointed. That was only for a few days. Today, I am so glued to this ''Light weighed personal machine'' for past 2 years.

I work for a Brand promotions company and I am very frequent on Cell phones. None of my friends will be surprised if you tell them that Anees is on phone since the morning and its already 2 hours. I easily exceed 150 minutes a day. And a rough user for that matter. I cant remember how many times the phone has taken a flight out of my pocket. I am so impressed how long this phone can hold out. It offers about 300 minutes of talk time on the catalogue. But, I found out once that this phone can take much more than this. Once I had a long chat with my friend, I started around 8 PM and I finished around 11:30 PM. Thats when it struck me that I have been talking for 3 hours 30 minutes. Before I hung up with her, I asked her to get another friend to call me. And he did, we spoke for another 2 hours finally when the phone gave me that familiar 3 beep sequence and went out. That was incredible! It actually did 5 hours and 30 minutes approx. That is what impresses me the most. This whole thing was immediatly after I picked the phone from that charger and there was zero standby.

Any one who have seen a Nokia 6150 will agree with me about its thoughtful features. Just right, nothing unnecessary, has everything I will ever need. And all these and such easy shortcuts. It has a impressive calender which can store your schedules for ever. Even better, no more red faces because you forgot your loved one's B'day. Cos, you set one birthday on the phone and It will alert you for each of her B'days also telling you how old she is.

I also love the IR feature which allows me to transfer the entire 150 strong phone book and 140 Sim card Memory across to my computer. Needless to say, you don't have to carry a phone book with you when your phone can carry 290 numbers with it.

Games are simple and engaging. Snake and memory take you out of any kind of stress and gives one hell of a deviation when you badly want one. And all this packed into a light 140 grams including the Lithium Ion Battery pack.

I would love nokia to have a Dictionary also built into this phone, that is the only thing lacking to make this the best ever built phone, But hey, you cant have them all.
