I purchase Nokia 5230 phone because of its features. It is a 3G phone with GPS and GPRS built in. The phone is suitable for anyone who wants a decent touch phone that is latest in its class. I found a few things that did not go to my liking. One is the car charging unit that comes as part of standard equipment accessories. The pin size does not match to the phone socket. Which means I cannot use the car charging facility unless I get an adaptor. These adaptors are of local makes and not sure of the quality.
The second disappointment is the battery life. I failed within one month of purchase and what is more pathetic is the poor customer service. Though they have sufficient proof of purchase, the service centre has taken away the battery and asked me to contact them after 10 day for a replacement. I don't understand why 10 days when they should have replaced the battery across the counter.
Their internal analysis could is their problem and customers like me need not be burdned with.
