I purchased a Nokia 5030 cell phone on 09-01-2010 from Cell point, Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam, AP for Rs. 1950/- .The MRP on box is Rs. 2229/-. There were no offers except for 12 months extended warranty by Nokia Care protect on payment of 512/-+ taxes to be registered at a Nokia care outlet and not in the shop purchased. I did not opt for it though.
The box in addition to the phone contains a charger, a BL-5C 1020 m AH Li-ion battery and head phone and a mini user guide. Charger socket uses pin which is the same as the one used for Nokia N72, 95, etc.
The user guide is very rudimentary and does not contain description of many features, but the phone is not too difficult to master.
The main and only attraction is the Express FM feature and has in-built antennae. There is no need to plug in the head phone for listening to FM radio.
Battery life is pretty good as there are not many features on the phone. Ring tones are simple. Looks are good. I purchased the red colored set. The phone has no other frills.The keypad looks neat but absolutely useless for typing text.I almost forgot to mention, Go for it if you want all Technical specs for geeks:-
