I am satisfied with Nokia 3660. Review on Nokia 3660

Since I find there are many people reading reviews on Nokia 3660 I think I should write more serious review on this phone. My review 'Ye Dil Maange More' was written with a interest of having Nokia 6600 and I almost bought it but when I studied my Nokia 3660 manual thoroghly I skipped the idea.

I used both phones recently. I own 3660 and used my friend's 6600. There is no much difference in the functions offered in both phones. The major differences are...

1) Nokia 6600 is a comparatively small sized phone than 3660. Talking with figures..

2) Nokia 6600 has 2x camera, while in 3660 there is no zoom.

3) Both phone uses the Symbian Operating System. 6600 has better version.

4) Price - there is no major difference as such because now a days you get 6600 for

as low as Rs 15700 (new) and Rs 12500 (old). While 3660 is in a range of Rs

10-12000.

Besides these, there is no major difference as such. Battery version and life is same.

3660 comes with a 16MB

memory card which can upgraded to as high as 256MB. I just did it and costed me

Rs 2000. Though I know it's high price paid, it was worth.

The benefits are...

1) MP3 player. with 21 MP3 full version songs.

2) Though it already had a Real One player, I have 16 full sized songs.

3) 4-5 additional games

4) Number of ring tones - polyphonic as well as real. I have 'Kya Aap Close Up Karte

Hai' set as my ring tone... and my office really laughs when it rings.

5) Some funny softwares like making funny faces and all

6) And most important feature is video recording - Normally the phone can record

upto 10 seconds. But with this software you can record for minutes to hours -

memory card is the limit.

Please note that with additional memory card your phone may get slow.

If you buy a brand new 6600 it doesn't come with all these features. If the phone

dealer obliges you, he may upload a song or two or a video. My phone dealer

uploaded Bhige Hoth Tere - Mallika is HOT man! for free in my 3660.

You certainly get a additional memory card but you need to upgrade it to get more.

Yesterday I heard somebody screeming on net saying Nokia 6600 is the king of phones. If it's true then Nokia 3660 is Queen. But with a 256 MB memory card put I feel my phone is no less than it. I am obsessed with my phone now.

So friends lets do a small comparison here...

1) Nokia 3660 (Rs 11000) + 256 MB memory card (Rs 2000) = Rs 13000/-

2) Nokia 6600 (Rs 15700) + 256 MB memory card (Rs 2000) = Rs 17700/-

With a difference of sizeable Rs 5000, I think guys it's advisable going for Nokia 3660.
