I have multiple policies of Max Bupa and this is related to renewal of Family First Silver Family Floater Plan

I have 2 policies one which has me, my wife and kid.

Another one has my father and mother.

The renewal insurance of the policy my father and mother had was increased by 20% and reason given is version 4 and new features and benefits added without providing any breakup of the increase.

This is the feature of the policy every year the premium increases by 20% since my father is a senior citizen.

Also they send reminder just 15 days before renewal.

The case with the policy I have is I renewed and it has gone to version3 and there was no option while renewing to choose version 3 or version4.

Pathetic is their renewal process and website that it does not show options and they say you need to call and such is the website and process when everybody is talking about digital revolution etc.

Now I am stuck with older version since they say it is locked and cannot be changed.

Also interesting was during renewal website shows X premium and IVRS says Y premium and when told to customer care the person says we have already complained regarding faulty IVRS.

Also the email says something document says something else on renewal.
