My husband said we needed to upgrade our 2001 Dodge Ram Pickup for an SUV for our family of five. I had no idea what I wanted so I surfed the 'Net and became intrigued by the 2005 Pathy. When we test drove it I fell in serious lust! It is one of the few vehicles that fit my 5'1'' body and I was not sitting with the steering wheel on my lap. The pedals come up to meet your body height and it has two memory settings on the door for two different drivers to remember their mirror and seat positions as well. We got the package that includes leather seats with seat warmers, 5 disc CD player, GPS navigation system, VDC (vehicle dynamic control to keep you on the road if you oversteer), side curtain air bags, 17'' tires, Bose sound system, and much more. It is roomy and seats up to 7 people with plenty of storage in the back. The seats fold down easily for extra room for groceries when you aren't driving kids around. It is great on road trips and has a 270 hp engine and accelerates smoothly and quickly. It gets around 15-19 mpg around town and 17-22 mpg on the highway. Nice extras that I love are it tells me miles to empty, tells me when my next oil change is due, and if your tires are losing air or going flat a sensor tells you so you can drive with caution until you can get it fixed. This vehicle looks sharp going down the road and has been totally revamped from the previous Pathfinder models. We paid around $33,500 and it is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. Test drive it to believe it!
