Last time I purchased the D3100 which is physically 'light weight' with stunning design and I am sure that Nikon D40 does not disappoints you in terms of design.
The D40 camera preformed flawlessly and capture crystal clear picture.camera is just perfect in daylight and good in night.I had no issues with battery power management and battery works fine which is surprise! There is not any issues with dust on the sensor since the camera had a new inbuilt sensor cleaning function in camera.
The simple UI controls for adjusting settings, flash and other function.Nikon D40 UI is very easy to operate for everyone. I shoot many pictures thanks Nikon for making this camera.

I am in love with this camera. It's easy to use, easy to learn and takes beautiful pictures! So I will strongly recommended Nikon D40 to everyone and yes it is one of the best camera of Nikon
