I watched this movie for the lack of anything else to watch... so I went in with very low expectations and was still a little disappointed! I can imagine how disappointed people who went in with some expectations may have been.

The story is about a woman, Meera, who is driving and comes across a place where a woman is dying. Before dying the woman looks into her eyes and asks Meera to help her. Anyway, after that, Meera starts having premonitions of people who die by the hands of a serial killer. Most of the dead women are bar dancers. A female cop, Koel Puri, comes into picture here. She convinces Ashmit, an ex-cop, to join in this case and help her out. Now Ashmit is a John Abrahim look-alike, who probably settled for less money. The only difference was that Ashmit's hair was longer than John's, and he could be confused for a chimpanzee while John can not (no way!!!). I guess Soni Razdan thought that she could get away with a look-alike. As it is, few people would spend money in the theatre to watch Nazar, and given the quality of cable guy's videos, people could have mistaken him for John her thought process, probably. Anyways, back to the story. So now Ashmit is the only one who believes Meera's premonitions, and that is a sure sign of falling in love. Enter a woman who senses ghosts, and gives Meera a pep-talk on how she should face her fears and the darkness. I had this image of the woman hitting Meera with a broom and her assistants breaking out into a dance, but thankfully I was saved this cliche. So finally Meera is at home, and its her time to die. The serial killer comes to kill her, and after much struggle where Ashmit the hero comes to save her, the villain dies! By the way, if you wish to know the killer, scroll down and go to the Spoilers section.

I did not like anybody in this movie. I just could not get Ashmit's similarity with John Abrahim out of my head, and didn't like him one bit. Ashmit definitely needs a haircut, maybe that will make him look better. I did not find Meera to be pretty, and Koel could not speak a single dialogue fluently. I mean, she really really needs to learn Hindi because she speaks haltingly and forcefully. I would not recommend this movie.

SPOILERS

Guess what? Koel is the serial killer! She hates bar dancers because a bar dancer slept with her husband who got AIDS and in turn gave it to Koel. She wanted to remove the cause of AIDS. In the end, she falls off the building and dies. So alls well that ends well.
