My wife has stomach pain for past 2 months when she eats some thing she vommit every thing most of the times in a day. So I took her to Gastroenterologist Gayathri Gopalakrishnan in Narayana hrudayalaya. She is one of the worst doctors..that I saw.
She is never on time, if she dont like you she will make you wait for 4 to 5 hrs and ask you at the end to come and see next day. I came to visit her all the way from andhra and took a guest house to spend atleast a week. On first day she saw my wife and asked questions... she did not tell any thing she wanted to do some about 10 tests which costed about Rs.15000 which includes CT scan of stomach and x-ray, colonoscopy etc.. for 3days.
Each day we visit, she will say there is nothing showing in these tests so there is more to do...Finally we are fed up and insisted if she can give any pain killer.. she said she cannot treat that way and she wanted to do more tests and wanted to come after a month. Meanwhile she gave some pain killer and my wife stomach pain is still as is .. not reduced by a tiny amount.
We spent almost a week in a hotel nd spent 15K on tests with no end result. I did not go to office for 1 week and accommodation in a hotel every thing was waste b'cos of these kind of doctors. She is useless doctor with no professionalism. They want make money from people. I strongly recommend not to visit her.
I'm planning to complain to narayana hrudayalaya hospital management. will update you if any thing comes up.
