I had taken admission in Malad centre of NIIT in October 2004. I had taken admission for OCP(Oracle Certified Professional) course which consists of four modules SQL, DBA 1,DBA 2 and Performance Tuning(PT). I was told that in 40 weeks the course will be over. I made a mistake and paid 25000 Rs at that time. I paid the entire course fee together instead of paying in installments.
For the first two modules the lecture went as per schedule but after that faculty from the institute left. After that time no classes took place. I asked them numerous times when the classes will start, but they always kept postponing the date. Then they told me to attend the batches of performance Tuning at Bandra centre and skip DBA2 module. But since Bandra was not convenient for me I didn’t go there after 2 lectures.
Since my DBA2 course was still not completed I asked them for refund coz they just did not start the batches for the course for which they took the money. Whenever I call at their centre they just hang the phone and don’t reply. I went many times to their office but they say that they will call back and look after the issue, but they don’t do anything.
This is really a very cheap behavior which I came across at this institute.
Now I am planning to take legal action against them.
I would really appreciate if any of the readers will guide me how to tackle this issue.
