Shopping for fashion products online is a highly smart measure because it grants a few privileges over visiting the counters and shopping throughout the day. It is rather more preferable because:
1.) It gives a wide range of choices.
2.) Shopping online is easy with just a few clicks.
3.) Easy sit and shop from your home, office or anyplace and anytime.
However when it comes to shopping for fashion products online, there are some significant merchants which have been ruling this field and Myntra is among the giants.
I have been a regular shopper from Myntra for anything related to fashion ranging from shoes to clothes and goggles. So far I have bought a dozen pair of clothes from this site and two pairs of shoes along with a goggles, but recently the quality of the products have decreased and just yesterday when I went through another of my shopping and received the product, I was pretty disappointed.
First of all, I had received a few products from Myntra recently which really don’t live up to the expectation. Previously Myntra had products from brands and did focus on the quality of the clothes they sold. However lately, this thing has been missing. Like I had ordered a moderately price T-Shirt from this site belonging to the brand Roadster, which costs me around Rs.500. The clothes color started fading after a few washes even though I had strictly followed the washing guidelines. Not just it, another shoe of some infamous brand which I had purchased for my little brother got worn out in two months itself. The sole of the shoe entirely came out of it. This was really disappointing as earlier I had ordered some products which lasted even for years and some even now.
Moreover, the customer service of Myntra is pretty embarrassing. This I came to know when one of my shirt became small and I decided to replace it. I called the customer care and they politely took my request saying a courier guy would receive the product from my house soon enough. Though after about three days there was no sign of anyone so I called them again saying them to take action faster. After three persistent calls and pestering from my side, they did send a guy to receive the product. This took another two weeks to get the shirt of my desired size.
Finally I would like to say that though Myntra is not a bad choice for brands, some low price products here are really compromised with and hence it is not good to shop from this site if you are planning to buy clothes on a tight budget. For brand stuff, Myntra is good. For non-brand stuff, Myntra is not recommended.
