I always cherished my frequent travels to Coastal Karnataka.
Beautiful landscapes,changing climates,prestine beaches,holy places - definitely a recipe for
bliss.
I have travelled both from Bangalore and Dharwad to Murudeshwar, both a pleasurable expereince.
I always take my car when I visit troust places.
Started early morning from Dharwad - Reached Gokarna after 4 hours drive - most of the tourists
are from Maharshtra who do their Tharpanas to departed souls.Old temple is famous for Ravana's
Shivling. Just walk across you reach the beach.Natural beach and you would definely enjoy a swim
since the waves are very normal.
After spending one hour in the beach we left for Edukunchi, famous for its Ganapathy temple.
Well adminstered temple, a neat place.
Now we drive down and reach Murudeswar for Lunch in the temple itself after our Darshan.
Big Shiva statue the key attraction in this place.
Spend about Four hours in the beach there.A Fantastic experience.
Drove all the way back to Dharwad and reached home around 11:00 PM
A GOOD ONE DAY TRIP
