Mujhe Kuchh Kehna hai is Debut film for Tussar. And director has tried to put every best possible thing in the movie. Like Dalip Tahil as father, Amrish Puri as Uncle, Kareena Kapoor as Heroin, Rinki as Sister. You have also got other actors such as Aalok Nath. Very good locations, good score (even if it reminds you at time of ''Tadaap Tadaap''), good dance (You again get reminded of ''Fiza - Mehbub mere Mehbub mere'', when you see Kareena's hands moving in front of your eyes), pretty good cinematography.
But, what happens to the story? movie needs a logical and good story (no matter how thin!) to have a movie that is going to go for three hours(Those of you who have seen Lagaan will believe that). Here you got a guy who falls in love with a girl but decides not to tell her.
[but I liked the climax, seemed logical thing to do for a guy who has got some commensense, but no money, no job, no degree]
And there are scenes which are avoidable such as College pranks (haven't we seen too many of them lately?), melodramatic marriage of sister.
So if you remove that you are left with probably just 1 and half hour of movie. (But that should be good and less taxing for brains).
I wonder what happened to the guy who did mixing of sounds. Suddenly the sound becomes too loud in certain scenes. Probably director wanted every one to pay attention on the screen.
Overall, something that you want to watch when you have nothing to do. I will still prefer to see a screensaver on Kareena Kapoor, if I have a choice.
