You go to the market to buy a product, most of the times the sales man would lie to you.
To make an informed decision folks review products, they talk of performance etc etc. But what about reliability and customer support? Most of the professional reviewers would have no clue, Thats where a consumer written review helps. But folks can be biased so it helps reading a group of consumer written reviews and thats where mouth shut wins.
I have been on mouthshut since a few years now and most of the times when im looking to buy a new product I do a search out here and read up.
Over the years mouthshut has changed in good ways tho. Earlier contests were hard to win but had huge prizes. The contests now make it easy for all of us to feel rewarded for voicing out our opinion.Of course not a big reward but a small one to say thanks for helping people.
However there have been a few places wher ei feel mouth shut needs to get back up,
One is they are late on encashing our ms points and the other is they bring down the prize value of the reviews. But otherwise no complains bout the site.
Their support team is always around to help you should you need any.
